Hot Girl Murder Club combines multiple interesting themes in a binge worthy summer thriller. I really ended up enjoying this book, skillfully narrated by Brittany Pressley. Her voices and inflections fit the story, with a large cast of characters and suspects, there was always something unique in the delivery.

I thought the feminist revenge angle was really cool. Morals aside, the setup was on par with our political climate – women’s rights, filthy rich billionaires, secret societies and political power plays. I liked the different women and POVs – Detective Grey Holloway, Isabel, and Scout, as well as the symmetry in their stories. The plot was layered with plenty of mystery and a lot of red string theories. While predictable, I still liked the outcome, the wink and nudge, overall atmosphere was glamorous and gritty, and I was wholly entertained.
