In my humble opinion, this third novel is Danica’s best! I appreciate all the work she’s put into this book because it was just that good. Second chance romance lovers take notes!

June Walker was super likable out of the gate. Giving a big middle finger to the company she’s worked for and moving back to Oklahoma to purchase the farm from her childhood. It was cozy, wholesome and immensely relatable.

To put simply, Noah Abbott is the love of her life. From a young age they orbited each other and now finally coming together, with a little drama in tow. The dynamic between them was so easygoing, you could tell Noah was gone for her. If only June’s insecurities wouldn’t get in her way. Yearning and fake-fiance tropes elevate the romance here as well.

Small town vibes, farming, planting, and animal rearing – I really enjoyed it all. I tandem read along with the audiobook, narrated by Kyla Garcia and Shaun Taylor-Corbett. Their voices worked perfectly together, the spring, summer and changing seasons really brightened my mood. It was fun and funny, kudos to the author!

Thank you to Berkley for the free review copy, opinions all my own ☺️
