Rory and Ezra are rivaling haunted tour guides. Double booked on the same tour, they clash with words and one thing leads to another, disturb the seance altar of a very vengeful ghost. Temperance Talbot is a fickle spirit so Rory and Ezra find themselves cursed. To break their curse, they must spend time together, and get along, or risk bodily harm and accidents.

This was a quick paranormal theme romance, a great read right before Halloween! I liked all the ghosty characters, like Clementine and Luna, along with Rory’s medium ability, they added fun moments into the plot.

I liked the banter between the MCs, especially when they were in their haunted tour character. The rest of the curse breaking felt very low stakes and nothing really jumps out at me as memorable. I liked seeing The Out There podcast, Hayden and Hallie again, even for a brief moment. As a lover of all paranormal things, it left much to be desired in terms of hauntings or spooky things and higher stakes, but I appreciated it nonetheless. 3.5⭐️

Thank you to Berkley for the free book.
