The most anticipated release of the season, Emily Henry can do no wrong in my eyes and anything new will be an immediate buy and binge! Sorry, not sorry. It’s effortless and witty and it hits the right feels.

With that said, this book surprised me! It was more of a friendship story but with Harriet and Wyn in the foreground as the main characters. Their relationship was a rollercoaster of emotions! 😳 I adored this group of friends that have stuck together through college and now growing up, moving apart and away, and this little cottage that’s become their Happy Place. ❤️❤️❤️

The setting was so summery and fun☀️🏖️. I enjoyed every character, their personalities and banter were perfect. The themes were so relatable – let’s call them Millennialisms, I think many people in this age group have similar experiences and struggles. Emily writing for the people! 🙌🏼

Much like its name, this is a happy and inspirational novel with a found family trope and many many many other romance tropes you can’t help but enjoy!
