I was so pleasantly surprised with this book and it was summertime perfection!!! Exactly what I needed and I enjoyed it very much.

It took me a moment to remember the characters, I loved Maya and Conor’s banter and the pining!!! The Sicily setting was so picturesque and not Ali becoming Nostradamus with the Etna eruption!?

I actually liked this more than her last book – Deep End. But I loved the cameos!!! Totally ate that up, creating the Ali-verse. Literally sign me up each time. THE DOG?! Listen, if there’s a dog and the dog has a cute storyline? I’m golden.

I listened to the audiobook and it has a dual narration. Elizabeth Lamont had great energy and emotion, Eric Nolan did the voice for Conor, the delivery back and forth between their voices was super fun.
