Hello again February! I think this month was my most books read in one month. Winter amirite? 😅 here are my most memorable favorites:

Scythe

Futuristic Dystopia done so well! I fell in love with the Thunderhead. Super interesting characters and world building, so much growth and action packed twists. I’m still holding out the adaptation will happen but it’s been crickets on that end…

Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice

Listen, Finlay and Vero are my girls. This is just a fun and sometimes ridiculous series, but with so much heart! It’s reminiscent of these early 2000-10s long, single-character series that will forever have a place in my heart 💕

Black Sun

This was a technical re-read before the finale. I absolutely love this series and it was even better second time around. The rich world building, the magic, prophecy, all the characters and political machinations galore!!! Full cast audiobook performance is also great.

Listen for the Lie

I don’t own the physical book, but I think I read the ARC in one day? This is truly one of the best books of the year. Highly entertaining and a satisfying mystery. Recommend it for a quick read!

Honorable mentions:

Bride by Ali Hazelwood – I was so on the fence because I love paranormal romance but Ali did well with this. I think it has mixed reviews but not from me 🐺🧛🏻‍♀️

Darling Girls by Sally Hepworth – I enjoyed this quite a bit and ate up the mystery. A rollercoaster of emotions, and dual timelines were very engaging. Definitely looking forward to the adaptation!
