Sharing my favorites from this year, a reading wrap-up of a sort with my most memorable books! This has been a fun reading year overall. 

Just for the Summer

Abby had a ton of ARCs of this book go out to her Facebook group – yup, when we broke Netgalley for the whole day. I was thrilled to read this early, it was everything and more. Funny and romantic but also super realistic. An auto buy author and I’m still bummed I didn’t get her new ARC this time around 🥲

The Djinn Waits a Hundred Years

This book was amazing. I remember organizing my room and listening to the audiobook – it couldn’t be more thrilling. The atmosphere and the storytelling were phenomenal! All the stars✨

Tress of the Emerald Sea

My first Brando Sando and it was just the coziest adventure, I loved all the vibes and magical world building. It’s different than his previous books and I know the Cosmere is gigantic, I read Mistborn after but just the first two books. Might go back to finish and I still have a few of the other special editions left. Next year!

Honorable mention:

The Frozen River – this book was alike to Outlander and I devoured this story. A murder mystery with a feminist angle, loosely based on a real person. It was great!!
