This was a very cute book, I really loved the setup and how it developed. I started listening on audio and quite enjoyed the narration by Sofia Oxenham. It was quirky yet somber, I liked her accent for Delphie and Merritt was hilarious. Overall a sweet whimsical feel.

I loved all the tropes and bookish references, fake dating, enemies to lovers, one bed and all that, which tied into the plot, it was so fun. I loved the family Delphie found with all her new friends and how she fell for Connor, it was great. Mr. Yoon!!!

I didn’t see the final twist coming and that added an extra magical touch to the book, I liked it a lot!
