I loved this series as a whole, the characters are so interesting to follow, the futuristic dystopian world was creative and shocking, it had everything to make a powerful and memorable story.

The world building was truly grand, the coolest details were obviously to do with Scythes. The rules and discipline, down to the names chosen from historical figures, still one of my favorite things!

The Thunderhead AI was like a cozy Big Brother, watching everyone and everything, although not supposed to interfere with Scythe actions, it found a way to put dominoes in place and give hints to people, I just loved that.

Much of the theme focuses on gleanings, death, or lack thereof, but I think all of our characters sacrifice some part of themselves in the story and I found that captivating. This was just a fun journey and this series will be one of my favorites this year!
