This Spells Love was very entertaining, I loved the setup from the start. Gemma makes a wish to never have met her ex boyfriend and wakes up in an alternate universe where her wish came true. Problem is, her best friend Dax has no clue who she is. What follows are funny antics and Gemma trying to create a new friendship with Dax and developing stronger feelings for him.

I really liked this, the beginning had some Back to the Future references, cute and funny gags with Gemma’s sister and Aunt Livi, and spider Frank! Couple times I was annoyed at Gemma acting immature and like a ‘main character’ so that lowered my rating a bit, but overall an enjoyable read, I’d love to check out this author’s future work.

The audiobook was performed by Khaya Fraites and her delivery and pacing were really spot on, it made me want to keep going chapter to chapter!
