I was very intrigued by the synopsis of this book – a mysterious art theft in Paris. While the beginning was slow and the 9/11 death a bit too close to real world, I found the story entertaining. I absolutely loved all the Joan of Arc historical aspects, Parisian streets, museums and cafes – that really jumped off the page! It was a fun adventure with clues and famous paintings and monuments.
⁃ Français
⁃ Paris, France
⁃ Joan of Arc history
⁃ Treasure hunt, riddles
I have some issues with the main plot points not being very realistic, more on the outrageous side. The art theft reveal and backstory seemed to be accepted too easily. While I loved the middle, the last few chapters dragged too long and the epilogue could have been shorter.
