After three consecutive flops, I’m enjoying these books much more. Note to self: When in doubt, go back to fantasy 😆

𝗦𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

In tandem listening on audio and reading, this story is heavy and dark. The narrator is, let’s say, inexperienced 🫣 but I’m trying to focus on the plot and the message, very well written for a debut, about half way through.

𝗜𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀

This. Is. Everything. Already love the setting, world building and the characters. Putting this on top to finish asap. It’s like Blade Runner, Cyberpunk 2077 and Hunger Games in one. And for some reason it reminds me of Between Earth and Sky from Rebecca Roanhorse, which I love 💕
