I really am a sucker for this novel, I think Ashley Poston will be an automatic buy for me, especially after The Dead Romantics!

The Seven year Slip was much in the same vibe, bittersweet and almost like a second chance romance 😜 I just adored Iwan and how he helped Clementine come out of her bubble. He calls her Lemon and tbh that’s all it took for me 🍋💛

Ashley’s personal note at the end was heartbreaking and looking back at the way she wrote death of a loved one, made it even more gut wrenching. While detailing sad events, this novel had an overall uplifting and inspiring message about moving on and embracing change.
