This was a very consuming read (listen) for me, I was really invested in the story and even though I predicted many of the reveals, I still enjoyed it very much!

A wild psychological drama thriller, reminiscent of Dynasty, that focused on a small family recovering from a tragic death. Our main protagonist Sloan was the unreliable narrator as her health deteriorates throughout the book, but the mystery grows as we hear from multiple POVs. Her husband Whit, ex-mother-in-law Rosemary and Sloan’s new home nurse, Athena. Sloan is losing her faculties from lupus but noticing strange donations to her charitable foundation and odd behavior from Whit and Athena, there’s more at play than just Sloan’s health.

Very entertaining read, short chapters jumping POVs but well laid out story and satisfying ending, highly recommend!
