I adored this fun and quick beach summer read! Super lighthearted, extra feels on the summer vibes, a little bit of finding yourself and a second chance romance 💛🧡💚

Sam is engaged to Jack, the doctor, planning their wedding at her childhood summer home in Long Island. The beach and tree house hold many fond memories of her growing up with the boy next door, Wyatt, who broke her heart at seventeen. Now at thirty, Sam feels she’s finally moved on, but seeing Wyatt again and restarting their friendship makes Sam question her career and future marriage. Maybe coming back to Long Island is just what she needs to find herself again.

If you are a fan of Emily Henry and Carley Fortune I think you will enjoy this novel. It’s a sweet story with lovely characters, from Sam and Wyatt, to her quirky parents and siblings. Very lighthearted and not emotionally heavy, I sometimes wished the chapters would be longer but I really enjoyed it overall!
