Kitty Hart is The Kitty Whisperer, a viral social media cat sitter and Miles Thorn needs help with his mother’s cat while she’s at the hospital. They have an awkward first encounter but Kitty and Miles connect over the death of their loved ones and explore their attraction in an organic way.

The opening chapter in this novel is laugh out loud funny and cute. I enjoyed all the cat puns as chapter titles as well. Personally as a cat person, this was silly and fun but I’m not sure it’s for everyone (the cat haters tbh) it could be a lot. The novel is surprisingly deep and a little sorrowful, mentioning the death of loved ones before, it’s woven throughout the story as both characters feel stuck in the past with their families. The story gets more lighthearted towards the second half and I loved the animal rescue idea for Kitty’s future.

If you like animals and silly but heartfelt stories, I recommend this is for you!
