Practice Makes Perfect is a super sweet romcom happening in a small Kentucky town called Rome. Annie Walker is a florist and angelic as they come, no swearing and unfortunately no dating. Will Griffin is her famous soon-to-be sister in law Amelia’s bodyguard and security for her upcoming nuptials. Will is not looking for any long term relationships, at all, like never. But when Annie declares she wants to learn about dating, “reluctantly” Will volunteers, he cannot have anyone else giving her pointers!

I really enjoyed this book, it was so cute and charming with lovely characters. Annie was very relatable with her social anxiety and books. I adored Annie and Will’s friendship and relationship, it gave good banter (I’m a sucker for different names as nicknames I guess) and overall that gooey feeling I was looking for – the pirate romance novel stuff was gold!! 🤣
