The novel that inspired so many sci-fi stories – Star Wars amongst them! I listened to this on audio and I highly recommend it that way because it’s a lot – A LOT. The complex world building, the mythology and interplanetary politics is what I die for. It was dark and consuming, even if I didn’t know what the hell was happening at any given time, it all ended up falling into place. It’s amazing that it still holds up so many years later and the modern adaptations are very creative.

I will definitely need a refresher when the new movie comes out! This special edition cover needed to be in my possession, that dust jacket art is stunning. Probably the prettiest book I own! 🤩
