The mystery is what keeps me going, I’m waiting for something big to happen but not holding my breath too long 😜

So this novel picks up right after Winter in Paradise, Irene is back in Iowa trying to tie up the loose ends of her husband’s mysterious death, she receives a call from Huck offering her a job back in St. John. Her sons, Cash and Baker are in similar positions. They both feel a connection to the island and the rivalry with winning over Ayers.

Each of them decides to go back to St. John for personal reasons and start brand new, but it’s not all smooth sailing. The active FBI investigation boils over and the family will need to brave the storm.

I got used to the different POVs and now looking forward to each character’s thoughts. In this novel we got to learn what Rosie was thinking through her journals. It’s a very chill read that doesn’t take too much brain power to figure out the mystery. I sped through the audio, enjoying the Caribbean setting and kinda wishing I was there ☀️🌴🏖️✨
