I really think Abby Jimenez is a hidden gem💎 this is her best yet and I loved it (for the most part).

The opening chapters were great, Briana and Jacob immediately likable! I found myself laughing out loud throughout the whole book ☺️ I really connected with Jacob’s social anxiety, doesn’t everyone look up the menu and location of every place they go to??? 🫣

THE LETTERS ♥️ I died. That was so romantic and damn cute, the title makes sense! Pride and Prejudice fans delight!

Obsessed with the animals – Lieutenant Dan and Cooter, but the cat disappeared a bit in the end. Tropey with the right tropes: fake dating, one bed that even makes a joke in the pages twice. I love a good self aware poke😆

One thing that dragged for me was Briana’s trauma from her previous relationship, you get the dreaded second breakup in this novel. However, once everything fell back into place and on top of Abby’s personal note, it pushed me back into 5 star rating.
