Bea truly is a Stone Cold Fox, I was hooked from the start by the style of writing and the mood was on par with other books in this domestic-psychological-thriller genre, a big page turner. I really enjoyed the drama, the fascination with the filthy rich and us lowly lesser people – maybe that’s a genre on its own? I find myself devouring it.
A morally gray narrator, I thought Bea was smart and cunning, dealing with the aftereffects of her abusive upbringing made me root for her, a likable “unlikable” character.
I was hoping for more twists and an unexpected outcome, even a predictable one. It didn’t have a bang at the end I was hoping for but it was a solid read nonetheless!
