This was far more entertaining than I could have expected, not my usual read but I couldn’t put it down! A modern gilded age type setting, an old-money rich family following the lives of three siblings, their spouses and the problems even wealthy people learn how to manage.

I thought the drama was just right and not too over the top, meant to be more satirical but still relatable to each of the characters. It was a bit comical at times – the Arrested Development banana meme comes to mind – at the end you really can’t help to laugh about the damn drapes (they really do match the enormous windows well) 🤣

There were a couple cringey moments for me but overall I enjoyed this book.
